|Description||In legends, it is said that Fateranaur was vanished by Arceus into the deepest reaches of The Fate Temple because he killed lots of Pokemon without a single reason.|
Fateranaur (運命 Unmei "Fate" pronounced FATE-er-uh-naughr) is a legendary Pokemon discovered in it's own temple. It used to be the Grim Reaper of the Pokemon Universe, but it was prohibited to ever see day light again by Arceus because it killed hundreds of the first Pokemon easily with it's devastating attacks and cold-stone heart. It seemed unstoppable, until Arceus had enough and fought with Fateranaur. Fateranaur has been sleeping in the center of the Fate Temple for the past millenniums, with Fatear visiting it each year since it hatched from the egg. Fateranaur's Signature move is Past Catastrophy, which if hits, can knock over or out, or even kill the attacked.
Fateranaur's name comes from Fate. Just like Fatear. Fateranaur's japanese name, Unmei, comes from Fate.
Fateranaur plays a secondary role after he first appears; When Destonator comes into The Fate Temple to take Fatear, the heroes manage to awake Fateranaur to save him, Fateranaur then punches Destonator in the stomach really hard and he spits blood, then Destonator says: "That was a lucky shot you *BLASTOISE!*!" and leaves. After that, he wants to fight with Light, but he is defeated and Fatear heals and convinces him to join, so he does.
RoarEditFateranaur's roar is original, and electronic sounding, just like many original Pokemon. The drawing was made in Flipnote Studio, and published in Hatena.
